Montreal Wedding at Pavillon de la Jamaïque in Early October.
To say it was an honour to document Steph and Alex’s wedding is an understatement, as these two truly epitomize the palpable joy of marrying your best friend. From the moment I met them for their fun engagement session at Parc Nature de l’Ile de la Visitation, where they swing danced and laughed and loved without a care in front of the camera, to planning final wedding day details together online, to witnessing and documenting their big day at the ever picturesque Pavillon de la Jamaïque, it was so easy to capture their deep connection.
I arrived to capture Steph, her mum, and her crew gathered privately to make a toast to this core life moment, then I met the couple outside for their romantic First Look and an intimate portrait session in a glowing late afternoon light among the trees, before it was time for their beautiful outdoor ceremony, supported by their dearest friends and family in attendance, including Alex’s 91 year old grandmother. Props to Alex’s cousin, Erika who did an outstanding job officiating a teary, yet laughter-filled, heartwarming exchange of vows and rings to seal the deal. A whole group photo was secured under the big tree, and later Steph & Alex nailed their first dance, swing dancing to the ageless tune of L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole to initiate the evening’s celebration.
Happy to share some of my favourite photos from their beautiful wedding day. Click on any image to view the full frames in a lightbox & thanks so much for viewing!
